Creepy Halloween Doll Doesn’t Count for Carpool Lane

October 30th, 2015  |  Auto

People will use almost any trick to get into the carpool lanes and this Washington man was no exception.

A trooper was patrolling Interstate 5 in Tacoma during Tuesday morning’s commute when he caught sight of a man with a suspicious looking passenger in his front seat.

When he pulled the car over, it became clear the man had found his own Halloween-themed way to try to cheat the two person carpool lane rule.

Guy Gill, the trooper, found a child-sized Halloween doll with a creepy skeletal face dressed in a pink outfit and a black hat.

While Gill did give him a $136 ticket for a carpool lane violation, he stated on Twitter that he “gave him a break for not having a car seat."
