Tips for Hosting a Great BBQ This Summer

July 2nd, 2013  |  Insurance

Having a BBQ with your family and friends is one of the most popular ways to spend a summer’s day. If you are hosting a BBQ or party this summer, obviously you want to make a good impression on your guests. You want to have great food, fun, and make the day a memorable experience for everyone.

Here are Tips for Hosting a Great BBQ This Summer

  1. Keep an eye on the grocery flyers: You don’t have to go to great expense when it comes to the food for the BBQ. You can still buy high quality food, even if you are on a budget. BBQ food like steak, burgers, corn on the cob and other things go on sale all the time during the summer. Why pay full price when you don’t have to.
  2. Get the music going: Put on your summer playlist and get people grooving to the music in the backyard.
  3. Have a theme:Having a theme for your BBQ is a great way to spice things up a bit. It can be as simple as a food theme or you can get as intricate as you want.
  4. Create a signature drink: Creating a signature drink is a great way to do something unique. But, don’t forget to make a virgin version of the drink so the kids and non-drinkers can enjoy it as well.
  5. Cap off the night with a fire: The perfect way to cap off a great BBQ is to sit around the fire and roast marshmallows. The kids and the adults will love it!

Do you do anything unique when you have a summer BBQ? We want to hear your ideas!
